My bride, Erin Kennedy, is one of those people that just lights up the room. Such an incredibly beautiful bride, and as for her groom - well, let's just say they complement each other perfectly! First Look was selected by Professional Photographer's of America for their Loan Collection. I captured this image of the bride's parents when they saw their daughter for the first time on her wedding day. Only the top 15% of over 4,500 international entries are graced with this honor. A print created by Catherine Hall of Catherine Hall Studios in the San Francisco Bay Area has recently been accepted into the Loan Collection of the 117th International Exhibition of Professional Photography. Hall's work will be on display at the Phoenix Convention Center, January 11-13, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz. This exhibition is held in conjunction with Imaging USA, an annual convention of over 8,600 professional photographers and several photographic associations.

Talk about picture perfect, Lucy and Ross's wedding did not leave room for anything desired. In fact, I may have to hire their coordinators, Denise Auerbach & Laura Johnson, to throw me the same wedding! Everything fell into place - wonderful weather, incredible venue, great music, amazing friends and family and the most beautiful couple (inside & out!). So much love and so much fun. It was also my first time shooting at Viansa Winery, which is a very magical place. Above is a photo of me working at Viansa and below is a slideshow of the resulting images, enjoy!

Catherine has been capturing expressive images of people through her camera since an early age. I just got back from the most amazing destination wedding in the Cayman Islands. It was this Ritz Carlton's biggest international destination wedding with over 220 guests! The couple was absolutely gorgeous and incredibly elegant.
We were busy scouting and shooting most of our stay but we were able to sneak in some activities post wedding, such as scuba diving, swimming with sting rays, and soaking in the sun on the beach. It was a phenomenal trip both personally and professionally.
