From The Studio
It’s a straightforward concept that really took off: a contest on portraits of faces. And based on the overwhelming response PDN received, they stand by the old adage that “Less is more.” The winning images are divided into four categories of portraiture: celebrity/editorial, environmental, self-portraits and animals.
One of my Image Narrrations received an Honorable Mention in Vegas this WPPI. It is quite an honor, as it is the first multimedia piece they have awarded. You may check it out on my website. Enjoy!

Photos By: Catherine Hall Studios, San Francisco, CA Location: The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, Incline Village Kimberly and Kevin first met in Boulder, Colorado, where she was attending college and he was visiting a friend. But it wasn’t until six years later when the two crossed paths again, in San Francisco, that they really hit it off and started dating. Two years later, while in Kevin’s hometown of Madison, Wisconsin, they took a private after-hours tour of the Capitol Dome. As the two were enjoying the views of downtown Madison, Kevin knelt down and proposed. Plans for a destination wedding at Lake Tahoe were soon underway.
