Image Nominated for International Color Awards: Masters of Color Photography

INTERNATIONAL COLOR AWARDS HONORS CATHERINE HALL FROM THE UNITED STATES at the 2ND ANNUAL PHOTOGRAPHY MASTERS CUP CONTESTAn audience of 11,050 photography fans logged on from 89 countries to join the proceedings and view stunning work from the world’s finest photographers.

The nominated images were selected by a who’s who Jury of the most celebrated professionals in art and photography from National Geographic, Musee de E’Lysee, Financial Times to The Art Newspaper and Fine Art Society in London. Jury members reviewed submitted works online over an eight week voting period before making their final selection.

Awards were presented in 21 categories to photographers of twenty-five nationalities."The Masters Cup celebrates photographers who operate at the highest levels of their craft," said the awards Creative Director, Basil O’Brien. "Catherine Hall’s Two Girls, Three Skates certainly represents color photography at its finest and we’re pleased to present her with a nomination.

John Deere Fine Art Exhibit in Cincinnati

Last week we had an exhibit of gorgeous 20 x 30 inch prints of lifestyle portraits of persons using John Deere products in rural Maryland.  The exhibition was sponsored by John Deere and included images created for Catherine Hall Studios by Catherine Hall and Curt Littlecott.

Imagery donated to Art for Aids Orphans Charity Event

ART FOR AIDS ORPHANS is an annual art auction to benefit children orphaned and affected by HIV and AIDS. Supported by international artists who donate their work, local businesses who offer their services, an amazing urban exhibit space and a lot of goodwill, ART FOR AIDS ORPHANS aims to raise funds and awareness through our annual auctions. Our goal is to expand our fundraising each year, as we help people working with AIDS orphans throughout the developing world.

Image exhibited at Galerie 13 Sévigné in Paris

One of my images from my Appalachian series will be exhibited at 13 Sévigné, a prestigious gallery in France.  The exhibit will be shown June and July of 2007.
