One of my favorite weddings of 2007, Kate & Kevin at Thunderbird Lodge, is going to be featured in the Feb/Mar 09 issue of Modern Bride. I will post feature upon publication and in the meantime you may enjoy their wedding slide show.
Above is a photograph of me taking an environmental “scene setter’ image from the roof of the Ritz. If it wasn’t for their amazing coordinator, Melinda Easley, I would have never got the shot.Incredible venue, perfect weather, exotic location, kind family & friends and amazing clients – what more can a photographer ask for? Keisha and Troy’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman was full of style and elegance. The couple and their event coordinators Melinda Easley and Bernadette Williams did a sensational job. Keisha was a beautiful bride, so regal and full of grace. As for Troy, you just have to meet him – one of the most charismatic, intelligent, sharp, and fun to photograph people.Enjoy the slide show!
My bride, Erin Kennedy, is one of those people that just lights up the room. Such an incredibly beautiful bride, and as for her groom – well, let’s just say they complement each other perfectly! Such a lovely couple with amazing family and friends. I had the best time photographing their wedding.Enjoy their slide show and feel free to leave any comment!
Talk about picture perfect, Lucy and Ross’s wedding did not leave room for anything desired. In fact, I may have to hire their coordinators, Denise Auerbach & Laura Johnson, to throw me the same wedding! Everything fell into place – wonderful weather, incredible venue, great music, amazing friends and family and the most beautiful couple (inside & out!). So much love and so much fun. It was also my first time shooting at Viansa Winery, which is a very magical place. Above is a photo of me working at Viansa and below is a slideshow of the resulting images, enjoy!
This Winter Season my imagery is featured in Grace Ormonde, Wedding Style. The feature can be seen in the New England issue or on line on the Grace Ormonde Website. I will post print copy shortly, it is beautiful and begins with a double page spread of one my images.
Feature reads: Catherine Hall is known for keeping couples “engaged with encouragement” and trying to keep things “fluid and fun.” One of the many ways she does it: “I will often direct, but won’t pose, in order to keep a lot of energy in my images.” Many times she will even share cocktails with a couple before the session giving them some time to “get to know each other in a relaxed, social environment.” She adds: “The more you know your clients, the better and more personal the images will be.”
